Thurs. 5/2 Attention Northern Frederick County business owners. You are invited to the Thurmont Business Network’s monthly meeting at the YMCA’s Beautiful Camp West Mar at 14509 Brown Rd. in Sabillasville. The meeting will begin at 8:30 am, a half an hour later than our normal time since Route 77 will still be closed and we will have to use Route 550.

Thurs. 5/2 There will be a 3-D Archery Shoot at the Indian Lookout Conservation Club in Emmitsburg at 5 p.m.

Thurs. 5/2 There will be a Piano Citizens concert at Paul Recital Hall in Gettysburg, PA. at 6:30 p.m.

Sat. 5/4 and Sun. 5/5 The National Fallen firefighters Memorial weekend will be held.  There will be a ceremonial flag honors tribute to fallen firefighters along with a candelight and memorial service at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg. Sat. 5/4 Checkout the May Yard Sale at the Fort Ritchie Community Center in Cascade at 8 a.m.

Sat. 5/4 Play Bingo at St. Anthony’s Upper Hall in Emmitsburg. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the games at 6:30 p.m. with tip jars, 50/50, raffles & great food.

Sun. 5/5 Checkout the Shotgun Shoots (12 gauge & 410) at Indian Lookout Conservation Club in Emmitsburg. Last shoot with registration a noon and the shoot beginning at 1 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Sun. 5/5 The Emmitsburg Community Chorus invites you to their Spring Concert at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Creagerstown at 3 p.m.
