Thurs. 5/2 Attention Northern Frederick County business owners. You are invited to the Thurmont Business Network’s monthly meeting at the YMCA’s Beautiful Camp West Mar at 14509 Brown Rd. in Sabillasville. The meeting will begin at 8:30 am, a half an hour later than our normal time since Route 77 will still be closed and we will have to use Route 550.

Sat. 5/4 and Sun. 5/5 The National Fallen firefighters Memorial weekend will be held. There will be a ceremonial flag honors tribute to fallen firefighters along with a candelight and memorial service at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg. Sun. 5/5 Checkout the Shotgun Shoots (12 gauge & 410) at Indian Lookout Conservation Club in Emmitsburg. Last shoot with registration a noon and the shoot beginning at 1 p.m. Everyone welcome.
