COMMUNITY CIRCLE EVENT CALENDAR FOR THIS WEEK
This week at the Thurmont Senior Center Wednesday April 22nd there will be a General Meeting & Potluck Lunch at Noon. On Friday the Thurmont Senior Center’s Solo Aging Cafe presents Fraud and Home safety at 12:30pm.
Friday April 24th Is Karaoke Night at American Legion Post 168 featuring Wetzel Sound from 8:30 to 11:30 pm. Go out and show all of Thurmont what a great voice you have.
Friday April 24th and Saturday April 25th There will be a Used Book & Rummage Sale —CLOTHES ONLY at Emmanuel Baust United Church of Christ in Westminster from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.with all proceeds donated to local schools.
Friday April 24th and Saturday April 25th Checkout the Yard & Bake Sale at Jacob’s Church Pavilion on Harbaugh Valley Rd. in Fairfield PA from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday April 25th Enjoy A Night at the Races at the Mother Seton School in Emmitsburg with “live” horse races, games of chance, silent & live auctions, and much more. The cost is $50 per person or $350 for a table of 8. Dinner will be catered by the Carriage House Inn and is included in the ticket.
Saturday April 25th The Thurmont Business Expo returns to the Thurmont Event Complex from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday April 25th Checkout the Thurmont Lions Sandwich Sale & Gigantic Yard Sale at Bell Hill Farm on the southbound side of Route 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday April 25th You are invited to the 200th Anniversary Celebration of Apples United Church of Christ at the Stone Sanctuary on Apples Church Rd. in Thurmont at 1 p.m.
Saturday April 25th St. John’s Lutheran Church in Creagerstown invites you to their Drive-Thru Dinner & Bake Sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring St. John’s Fried Chicken, green beans, pepper slaw, biscuit & cake for $17. Buckets of chicken are available: 8 pieces for $12; 12 pieces for $17 and 16 pieces for $22.
Sunday April 26th The Vigilant Hose Company invites you to play Big Cash Bingo in Emmitsburg. Bingo starts at 1 p.m. The kitchen is open.
Sunday April 26th The Shotgun Shoots return to the Indian Lookout Conservation Club in Emmitsburg. Registration begins at noon and the shoot starts at 1 p.m.
