Tuesday October 20th The Clothes Closet at Thurmont United Methodist Church reopens from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with help for those in need of winter clothing and supplies.
Thursday October 22nd The 3-D Archery Shoot returns to the Indian Lookout Conservation Club in Emmitsburg at 5 p.m.
Friday October 23rd Checkout Live Music at AMVETS Post 7 in Thurmont with singer and entertainer Lauren Hill from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is free and all are welcome.
Friday October 23rd through Sunday October 25th You can go Boo in the Zoo and get Back to your Wild Roots After Dark at the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance at their website catoctinwildlifepreserve.com There will be treat stations, animal encounters, food trucks, games, activities, a campfire & more.
Saturday October 17th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Checkout the Field Fresh Farmers Market at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Come visit the largest producer-only farmers market in Frederick County, featuring over 30 local farm to table vendors.
Saturday, October 24th Ladies, you are invited to Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church on Ballenger Creek Parkway in Frederick for the Women’s Day Weekend: “Spillin’ the TEA”. There will be teaching, engaging & advocating and the fun starts at 3pm in an afternoon of celebration, praise and worship with guest speaker the Reverend Barbara Hardy from New Dimension Worship Center.
