COMMUNITY CIRCLE EVENT CALENDAR FOR THIS WEEK

Wed. 3/15 through Sat. 4/15 Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to apply for athletic and sports camp scholarships from March 15 – April 15. These financial aid scholarships help cover the cost of attending spring and summer 2023 athletic and sports activities or athletic camps. Applications must be submitted through the Community Foundation’s online scholarship system by 11:59 p.m. on April 15, 2023. Scholarships support participation fees only, and payment will be made directly to the youth athletic organization or to the parent or guardian as a reimbursement with proof of payment. Mon. 3/27 Attention lovers of Antique Roadshow. Head over to the Thurmont Grange on N. Carroll St. at 6:30 p.m. with your arts, crafts, memorabilia and more to find out from the experts what they are truly worth and how to care for them. Thats right the Thurmont Grange invites you to join them for their local edition of the Antique Roadshow.

Mon. 3/27 The Thurmont Ministerium invites you to their weekly Lenten worship service this week at Harriet Chapel where you can be a part of special music, reflection, meditation and prayer at the Candlelight Taize Service. You are invited to stay for refreshments & fellowship after the service. Please bring a non perishable food donation for the Thurmont Food Bank. The service will begin at 7pm.

Tues. 3/28 There will be a Senior Resource and Education Seminar at the Thurmont Regional Library at 10 a.m. Learn about financial programs, transportation and activities, legal resources and more. This is a free event.

Tues. 3/28 Checkout Old Fashioned Bingo at the Vigilant Hose Co. Activities Building in Emmitsburg with the doors opening at 5 p.m. and the games beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Fri. 3/31 You are invited for Old Fashioned Fish & Chips at the Emmitsburg Knights of Columbus in St. Joseph’s Parish Hall in Emmitsburg from 4-7 p.m.

Fri. 3/31 and Sat. 4/1 Catoctin High School presents a stage production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in the high school auditorium with one show on Friday at 7pm and two shows on Sat. at 1pm and 7pm. Tickets are available at the door
