This week at the Thurmont Senior Center Tuesday June 17 Ellie Williams from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday June 18 Is Library Day with the Thurmont Library from 10 a.m. to Noon. Thursday June 19 There will be a special Veteran Coffee Social at the Thurmont Senior Center at 10 a.m. and then you can enjoy a Seated Massage by Marie Free at the Thurmont Senior Center from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday June 20 you are invited to the Monthly Birthday Party at 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday June 17 The Community Clothes Closet at Thurmont United Methodist Church reopens from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with free clothing for men, women & children and help with emergency needs.
Tuesday June 17 through Saturday June 21 The Thurmont Fireman’s Carnival is back with nightly entertainment, rides, food, games and more! The parade will take place on Thursday June 19 at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday June 18 Work on your online Job Search Skills at the Thurmont Regional Library at 6 p.m.
Wednesday June 18 There will be Mind Care & Games for Seniors and Caregivers at the Emmitsburg Branch Library at 11 a.m. and at 2 p.m. hear the amazing story of I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic.
Friday June 20 through Sunday June 22 Frederick’s Hot Air Balloon Festival features 14 years of flight from Centenniel Park in Frederick with liftoffs starting at 6 a.m. and a Saturday nigh balloon bash from 5 to 9pm. The event is free to watch. Food and vendors will be availalbe.
Friday June 20 Attention golfers….American Legion Post 168 invites you to their 4th Annual Golf Tournament at the Maple Run Golf Course in Thurmont from 7-9 p.m.
Saturday June 21 The Bill Coyle Memorial Cruise-In car show at the Fort Ritchie Community Ctr in Cascade Maryland will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday June 22 Dirty Dawg Dogwash kicks off the summer in the Thurmont Plaza Shopping center with the Savagery food truck and fun for all dogs. from 9a.m to 2pm
