Monday December 1st Rocky Ridge Volunteer Fire Company will hold it’s Holiday Assistance Drive accepting donation of new unwrapped toys, holiday meal items & blankets. Please drop of donations at the fire house.
Monday December 1st The Thurmont United Methodist Community Clothes Closet invites you to their annual Christmas Party from 5 to 9 p.m. with free clothing for men, women & children & Christmas gifts.
Monday December 1st You can be Served With Grace at a free dinner at Graceham Moravian Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Monday December 1st The Emmitsburg Community Chorus invites you to an Evening of Christmas Spirit at the Carriage House Inn in Emmitsburg at 7 p.m.
This week at the Thurmont Senior Center Monday December 1st checkout Balance & Strength at 10:15 a.m. and then on Wednesday checkout Chair Yoga at 10:15 am.m. and then play Bingo at 1 p.m. and then get your Zumba on Friday December 5th at 9:30 a.m.
This week at American Legion Post 168 Tuesday December 2nd come to our Yoga class from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and then Wednesday play Cornhole at 7pm and then enter the Queen of Hearts drawing at 7:30 with Bingo on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Line Dancing upstairs.
Wednesday December 3rd Checkout the Catoctin High School Safe and Sane fundraiser at Thurmont’s Kountry Kitchen. All purchases will return a portion to the kids.
Friday December 5th The Thurmont Lions Club invites you to join their Christmas Cookie Contest at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Thurmont. Drop off six of your finest cookies to the church from 6 to 6:45 p.m. There is a $10 entry donation fee. Cash prizes will be awarded. Proceeds go to local charities.
Friday December 5th to Sunday December 7th The Artisan Market opens at American Legion Post 168 during Christmas in Thurmont. For more information, go to the American Legion Post 168 facebook page.
Saturday December 6th Checkout the Traditional Christmas at Catoctin Furnace Village from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday December 6th You are invited to the 22nd Annual Christmas in Thurmont at the Guardian Hose Fire Hall in Thurmont featuring Santa & Mrs. Claus, free photos w/Santa, Make & Take Crafts, an ESP Dance performance & more. There will be horse & carriage rides from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
Saturday December 6th The Emmitsburg Community Chorus invites you to their concert at Lewistown United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. and then on Sunday December 7th they will perform at St. John’s Union church in Creagerstown at 3pm. Both events are free to the public.
