This week at the Thurmont Senior Center checkout Kindness Cards on Tuesday the 18th at 1 p.m. on Thursday enjoy a seated massage by Marie Free at 10:30 a.m. and then on Friday you are invited to a Birthday Party at 12:30 p.m.
Monday November 17th Attention all Veterans! You are invited to an ice cream social at American Legion Post 168 at 6:45 p.m sponsored by Cub Scout Pack 270. This is a part of Scouts Citizenship month so please come out and visit with your local Cub Scout pack.
Tuesday November 18th The Community Clothes Closet at Thurmont United Methodist Church reopens from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. with free clothing for men, women & children in need and help with emergency needs also.
Wednesday November 19th You are invited to AMVETS Post 7 for Ladies Auxiliary Bingo at 5 p.m. with Bar Bingo on Thursday the 20th at 7 p.m. and a 7 of Hearts drawing.
Thursday November 20th The 3D Archery Shoot returns to the Indian Lookout Conservation Club in Emmitsburg at 5 p.m.
Thursday November 20th The Circus Bootcamp returns to the Fort Ritchie Community Center in Cascade Maryland at 6 p.m.
Friday November 21st through Sunday November 23rd. The premier Christmas event in Frederick County, the Maryland Christmas Show returns to the Frederick County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children. Parking is only $2. There will be live music, Santa Claus & food tastings, top artists and craftsmen fine art, jewelry, wreaths and garlands, toys, Christmas ornaments & so much more. Friday November 21st Bingo returns to the Thurmont Event Complex with the doors opening at 5 p.m.
Saturday November 22nd Dance Camp returns to the Fort Ritchie Community Center from 9-10:30 a.m.
Saturday November 22nd There will be Ham Sandwiches, Cranberry Relish & baked goods for sale at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Creagerstown. Pickup will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. including Country ham & city ham sandwiches with cheese for $5 each; Cranberry relish at $4 per pint or $7 per quart. You can also request a baked item to be specially made for you.
Saturday November 22nd The Old Field Woodworking Open House on Graceham Rd. just east of Thurmont returns once again from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with custom-made furniture and more.
Saturday November 22nd Checkout the Friendsgiving Talent Show at Thurmont United Methodist Church from 5-7:30 p.m.
Sunday November 23rd You are invited to the Emmitsburg Community Thanksgiving Service at Tom’s Creek United Methodist Church in Emmitsburg at 4 p.m.
