Monday January 26th REC CONNECT with a New After School Program for Teens sponsored by the Frederick Parks & Recreation Department and held at Thurmont Middle School from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The event is free.
Saturday January 31st The Emmitsburg Lions Club & Emmitsburg Library invite you to “Roar Like A Lion,” at the Emmitsburg Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone participating in fun activities, including crafts, vision screenings, blood pressure checks, diabetes screenings & much more. Families are encouraged to attend.
Saturday January 31st Checkout Cash Bingo sponsored by Catoctin Safe & Sane at the Lewistown Fire Hall.
Saturday January 31st You are invited to the 34th Annual Heritage Hunting Banquet sponsored by the Monocacy Valley National Wild Turkey Federation at the Walkersville Fire Hall with the doors opening at 5 p.m. and dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be delicious food served as well as beer & wine included with the purchase of tickets and a cash bar for liquor with silent & live auctions, games, raffles & an opportunity to win hunting guns.
